    Default Lake Verret

The old shiner master put it on me today. It's been the first time I've been back to the Lake in years. Linda and I tried a bunch of spots but none produced on plastics. Met the Shiner Master and he already had seven plus some cats. Later we met up again at the launch and he had added to his box. Congrats Bruce, well done. I didn't have enough shiners in my tank to mess with them but I will be filling it up again soon. It's so convenient to just scoop out what you want. We ended up with 1 bass, 1 bluegill, and one goggle eye. At least that's supper.

I've got to make a trip over to the shiner lady before my next trip and restock my tank and also bring some worms. Lake Verret is known for its catfish.
