Torch, I have had mine do that a few times in a little breeze or if they were pulling water creating a current and I was running at real slow speed. If I'm making sense, like the boat is slowly drifting off course and at slow speed the GPS is having trouble finding itself. Next time try speeding the motor up a little and see if straightens itself up.

When mine does that, I just unplug it and then plug it back in, don't have that problem anymore for a long time. Kind of like resetting a computer.

No it would start slowly turning left or right. I let it go and went past 360 degrees Would stop as soon as you correct. I was wondering if something is loose or battery needs replacing in remote

Well, if it's doing that, I would put in a new battery, clean the contacts good with a pencil eraser, and pull head cover and check all your connections and while in there take your meter and make sure your voltage is what it should be.

It's loosing the signal on the GPS antenna in the unit. Might be a wire off under the top cover of the unit. I had a used one that did that and Minn Kota replaced it.

I talked to minnkota and they say it's probably a voltage problem. I did have the wires undone the other day maybe wire not connected good
