Sure is pretty over there, maybe Donnie can help. Only time I fished the Tim Tom in Ms was with him and we done pretty good. Other times I have fished it in Alabama and did good there as well.

fishing is really good if you can get you a pattern going you can catch them just knowing what they are doing whatever month you are fishing is the key still spawning right now then they will hit the shallow stump fields and cypresess before heading to a little deeper water come summer time then you got a ton of brush tops on the main river channel that will hold fish good luck to you sir I would also talk to GDG and FEESH they are really good on the river

Donald is spot on about how the fish migrate from spawning areas to the summer pattern. By tourney time, May 20, I think your biggest hurdle is gonna be finding areas that are holding numbers of quality fish. They are probably gonna be widely scattered. If you do find a spot or two that is holding good fish, pound it hard. The Tombigbee is a single pole fishermans dream and can be his worst nightmare. Every place looks like it should hold fish and probably does at certain times of the year and river stages. You will have to weed thru many areas that hold nothing but dinks to get to the few spots that produce tournament fish. Just my two cents worth.
