Besides my rear axle deciding to bust free on my boat trailer and end up 5ft behind the boat, a hub going bad on the trailer, a couple broken rods, wind, and rain... It hasn't been too bad! Haha. Iv got to experience some great wading trips as well as some great spider rigging and jigging from the boat. So far iv had 3 guide trips and we got our boat limit of 30, then we had 28, and then limit of 30 again yesterday. The folks down here have helped me more than I ever could have asked for when I'm broken down and needed to get back on the water fast. Met some great people and hope to meet many more. Here is a few pics and I'll try to keep updating this post as the trip goes on.
These 2 were wading one evening

Birdman,
Sorry to hear about your misfortune with the boat trailer! It was a pleasure meeting you though last Monday at the boat ramp. We had a pretty good week on Grenada as well! Spider rigging Monday afternoon started it off right! Once the storms hit, we switched tactics and hit the water on foot. Had some real good success just being patient and as still as possible wading the brush piles. Hard to believe the huge slabs being caught with such a light bite! Thursday, in between storms we really tore them up wading stake beds and had a blast! Unfortunately for me, I had to leave Friday morning, so it's back to work for me. Hope you continue to enjoy your success down there! Maybe I'll run into you on Shelbyville one of these days?
Take care,
Dave
