Water temp was 65 at the East ramp when I launched at 10:30am. It looked like a weekend as the parking lot was full. Water was a tad bit muddy, but not bad at all.
I motored around to the West arm to try some of my favorite spots. Water temp was 57 and my spots in 12'-14' were not holding much as I only managed to pick up 3 in about an hours worth of effort.
So I went back towards the ramp and the warmer water and tried a spot near the mouth of the middle arm. One brush pile in 7' had the rest of my limit for the day. Was off the water and headed home by 3:00pm.
No minnows today, shad colored jig was the best color by far. Biggest one was just under 12".
8 females with still pretty firm eggs
2 males
Fished 5 spots and probably only caught 13 fish all day...where are the small ones?
I know what u mean I fished there yesterday with a buddy and I bet we only caught 5-6 unders. Nice work on today's limit
