I think too many people are worried what other people are doing.

Can't blame a guy for saying what lake. Sardis is 98000 acres. You can have 100 boats in a 10 acre spot just by saying something about what lake and what area. I laugh everytime when I read a post about I don't want any honey holes or your best spot just a general area to start catching those slabs. That's funny. If you don't want company keep quiet about your catch.

This entire thread is funny. Do you need some cheese to go with it?

"Not enough cops." Wow. Maybe one day you'll get your Nazi, police state. I hope I'm dead by then, but I'd love for you to stumble over somebody with a badge and gun telling you to stay in line all the time. You might change your mind.

If you absolutely cannot mind your own business, here's an idea. If what the guy next to you is doing is bothering you so much that you feel the need to tattle on him, how about just mentioning it to him? Politely of course. Explain how you feel about the short fish situation and what you think it's doing to the lake. Maybe he tells you to shut up and mind your business. Maybe he tells you that the fish are legal--maybe that's a lie and maybe it's the truth. I'm not suggesting you threaten the guy or start a fight. I saying that I remember a time when we dealt with problems without running off and tattling to the authorities.

If you're going to mind somebody's business, at least you can be a man about it.

I was bank fishing at a local hole one time and the guy next to me asked why I kept throwing back fish, I told him I was throwing them back because there weren't legal, his response was "where I'm from, if you get hooked you get cooked". I wished him good luck and continued fishing.

The locals are the biggest violators they know the routine of the wardens!!!! That way you can enjoy fishing and not be Stressed by measuring all day!!!!
