Thread: Fausse Point

My wife and i walked the long trail through lake faussse point several years ago. I thought I sure would like to fish there.

I grew up north of there on bayou courtableau Life was hard but the fishing was epic. I could tell yall fishing trips from my child hood in that area that are hard to believe by todays standards epic trips.

NICE lil mess i grew up on that lake i wish it was still like the good old days. growing up in bayou portage was pretty rough but fishing was allways great .the spot i do good is right off the dogleg if u fish there u knw it and also try by marshfeild landing when they draining them crawfish pond i caught 80 right at mouth of the drains .

I fish Portage in that old muddy water and catch some really good ones, marshfield has become a community hole, I used to catch like crazy up there all alone, now a days its bumping boats, haven't fished there in a couple years.
