    Default goobers headed to woodruff

Next Monday 2/1/16 we's putting in at Highlands Park Fish Camp, 2640 Highland Park Rd., Deland, shortly after 7am headed to Lake Woodruff for some dipping or what ever. Hope some folks can join us....I know that jayobee thing gets in the way, but I thought with enough notice you could work something out. It's me, the head goober, two pole shu, and the Florida head goober going so far. I'm pretty sure anchorman and Eileen are coming also. Any body got any fishing tips....we probably will need em'

My best advice would be to put in at Tedders and cut the travel time to the lake way down. It's mostly Manatee zone from HP to the lake and it takes a while. I like a jig and cork when I'm there to cast into a pocket and watch the show, but that doesn't always work best. Kinda weedy as I remember but can be trolled. You read my mind about today, that's where I was going to go but the rain took my time away.

This! The whole ramp, loading and unloading thing at Highland Park is horrible.

    Thanks Mike.

This one is going to take almost as much time on table as the Triple-bypass did.
They scheduled me for 8 hrs -operating table time...........
They did the same on the Triple by-pass time.
Ought to interesting - all i care is - with this done maybe i can walk again without
cane support & meds to relieve pain...........

Never tried it there. Always used county ramp at 40 bridge if fishing that side.

I second the ramp on the SW side of 40. Good ramp with good walkways. I've never used Powell's and prefer to use the little guys businesses when I can. If you check it out please bring me up to speed. I've done well right in front of Powell's pitchin a jig and cork, in fact that's where I was first shown the technique. I could fish the day right there and not use a gallon of gas. Also some knockout Shellcracker beds nearby. OK , I'll be quiet. I'm starting to ramble. Y'all do good, I'll be a workin that day. Took today to do paperwork on the new car and hoped to get some time in on the water but in the end the water kept me from the water. Stinkin rain!!
