Jerry & I will be there sometime around noon on Thursday so if you want to offer up my pot of chili that night too, it'll be ready. Same with the carrot cake, I'll just turn the food over & ya'll set it out as you see fit.

Thursday night will be our smallest crowd and it looks like we may have that covered for now......Saturday night will be the biggest crowd.....how about the carrot cake for Friday night and the deer chili for Saturday night.....

Very good Bruce, thanks. We should have bowls from what Danny is bringing, I hope. If not, there is a Market Basket in Toledo Town. I gathered up some "gumbo spoons" for us to have with the chili, soup, and etouffee. The teaspoons that come with the plastic sets are lame in my opinion. I brought some of them last year. They would probably work with a Jambalaya as well - just sayin

Well guys I bombed on the hush puppies, they turned out to be pitt bulls. No where near fit for consumption. They ones I ate at the diner were great and I will try again. Maybe I can get something close to those.

I have BamaFan's recipe for hush puppies and they are proven to be "Great" I can bring the ingredients to make these for Saturday night while we are frying everything. Just let me know.
