Is there anything in the head that would be bothered by a magnetic interference? The reason I ask is I shortened the shaft on a Terrova 6in. but didn't shorten the wires. I just made a 2in. loop with them right at the shaft area away from the GPS module. You think I will have a problem? Im assuming the Auto Pilot and Advanced Auto Pilot uses a compass. Do you think this will effect this function? Thanks
