I actually use 4 different colors down there, but orange/chartruese is the most consistent producer for me

Hey guys when I'm not crappie fishing I'm bluegill fishing. I've already asked about tillatoba lake but I also found out that were a few other small lakes in the yalobusha county area such as chestnut lake, Texas lake, organ lake, walker lake etc..do any of these lakes produce good bluegill? Or would I be wasting my time?

Not monster size gills but good ones in all of those lakes. Tilatoba just being re-opened is most likely the best bet, has red-ear in it as well.

There used to be some huge longears in organ lake but the lillies have pretty much taken it over the last time I was there. Little texas was drained and restocked a few years back but walker has some good fishing and chestnut also. There are also crappie in these lakes, they are smaller but still fun to catch.
