    Will be my first shoot. When should you use the soft and/or regular Plastisol?

    I use soft plastic in all of my crappie sized baits and many of the walleye sized ones too. Frogs, lizards, larger walleye baits generally see regular.

    The plastic firmness is something you have to work with yourself in the different baits and molds. What's thumbs up for one person might be all wrong for the next..

    I agree with CTom what one person likes someone else might not.. I use regular in all my crappie baits. You need to try what works best with your baits. Make some and see the action on them see how long they last with different textures
