Good morning wayne, that is a good question. Usually at this time of year we start having very low water conditions that last into March most years. If we get a big influx of water from the west, it will really muddy up the whole system and make it hard to fish. All the warm weather we have been having has set up an early spawn as indicated by females with ripening egg sacs but now high water and cold water will change all that. Will that make for a poor spawn, or late spawn, or no spawn at all. I guess it's to be seen. Whatever happens it will be a new one for us and the fish.
