    Default The Grove is empty.

Linda and I fished Orange Grove today and it wasn't pretty. I manage to catch 2 small bass and no sacs or no brim. We didn't even get any bumps except for the 2 that I caught. Even the sonar showed no fish in the deeper water which is unusual. No one else we talked to did any better, most had caught nothing and one guy caught a bass. I wonder where all the fish went?

I have seen that. It's like the fish disappeared but a week later they were back and biting. They are under a cloaking device!!!

Glad to hear that you and Mrs. Linda were able to get out for a while. The fishing will get better.

To bad PPG. Good you got out. I'd like to hit the river tomorrow but with the rain, going back south could be better.

    Hello PPG,

Glad you got out to the Grove. Days like today, I'm happy the boat run good and had a safe trip. I know you make the best of it too. I'm gonna go try my hole in the swamp up here as soon as barometer drops.

    Good luck Young.

JR, I need to get with you about your place down south. I only went once and it was a bust. I have no idea of where to fish in that area.

Armand, any more news from Lake Beouf or Union Oil canal.

Bruce I hope you're right. Every winter I have the same problem in the Grove. There are a few other places I fish near there that do produce in winter but the Grove is always tough for me until the end of Feb or beginning of March when the water comes back up after being low all winter and starts to warm up. Of course this year with very high water this early in the year it might make a world of difference this year.
