Gene, it wasn't really that cold but the wind was horrible! I do remember that trip with FM! At least this time it wasn't raining. I talked to him this past weekend and he was in Germany with his girlfriend (fiance). Looking forward to getting him back involved with this group, I'm going to keep after him until I get him to attend an event. lol

Good idea on getting Markham back into the group. Although he's big on the salt water scene right now I sure he's aware of the great fresh water fishery we have down here. Not too many 2 pounders, but lots of fish.

I would like to make this gathering again; just to much going on this year. thanks for the pictures.

The Larto gathering has given me a shot in the arm and awakened me to the fun of fishing with friends.
I returned home with a new fervor for getting out on the water again and catching my limit of one fish.
I look forward to traveling to Toledo Bend at the end of February and seeing all of you again.

OK, I found the lost pictures. Here is the very first fish I caught Wed. afternoon. He was about 5 inches long.

Next one was better, over 10"

And the catch from Wed. afternoon and Thursday. Cyberwolf gave me his catch so this was OUR catch from Thursday.
