    Default Larto gatherin pictures

OK, well I had an extensive write up done and was just about to post it when the computer decided to go on the brink! So this will be a less descriptive write up. Fishing was TOUGH! But we caught a few. My best fishing was in the lake and at times I was fishing in 20 MPH winds! I had my drift sock and 2 window weights out and was still moving!
This pretty much summed up the weekend.

Wed afternoon and some of Thursdays catch

Deacon and Cyberwolf at the fish fry Friday night

Mrs. Shadow and Deacon's wife Donna at the fish fry Friday night

And can't forgot Cyberwolf's beautiful Bristish lab "Chloe"

My best fish for Friday 1.9 lbs

My best for Saturday 1.13 lbs

    The rest of the catch

A close up of the bigger ones. Caught several over 1 lb.

Most of my fish were caught in 18 to 20 FOW fishing 16 to 18 feet deep and my best colors were Bobby Garland Blue thunder and Thread Fin Shad with an honorable mention to Cajun cricket.
It was a small gathering but we had a blast! I am thinking about maybe doing it the second or third weekend in January next time so we can have some more members attend.

Thanks for the pictures, Dwayne. It sounds like the fishing conditions weren't perfect, but like troopers ya'll hung in there, figured them out, and caught a few good fish. Congratulations to all of ya'll. I hate that I had to miss it. Maybe next time.

Man that's some nice fish. I had to get on my phone to see them, Freeport blocks the pictures for some reason. Looks like some good hot soup would have been good Saturday for lunch.

Just noticed that the first fish picture was NOT of fish caught at Larto, it was fish that Dad and I caught at Bundicks a week earlier. Noticed my fish scaler in the picture (which I did not have at Larto). I did take another fish picture of the first catch but somehow it didn't show up on the camera. Sorry about that guys, I wasn't try to fool anyone. The rest of the pictures are definetely from Larto though.
