    Is the red track line something new on the helix or is that a setting that Rickie put on there.

    I have to assume it is something new for the Helix. I sure do like it.

    I like it to was hoping it was something Rickie did. The light blue line seems to blend in on the lake cards at times.

    About the Track Color - My Helix 5 DI GPS will let me choose my track color, so I guess all the Helixes will do the same.

    Here is what is says in the manual:

    The Current Track Submenu includes the following options:
    <snip>
    <snip>
    Appearance allows you to change the style and color of the current track. (Breadcrumb Trail, Dashed Line, Solid Line or Wide Line, and if a line, the color of the line, or Color By Depth).

    In the last picture, why is the red track going over land? How accurate is the track?

    No. That is the 10 foot depth coloration. Green is 10 feet deep and up to 4 feet where I have it colored in red.. That is the number 1 feature of the LakeMaster card I love. I can set the lake level off-set for winter pool level, the depth off-set color at what ever depth I want to troll, and the shallow water depth in red to warn me.

    No compassion in the LakeMaster vs Navionics cards on KY and Barkley Lakes. LakeMaster is extremely accurate the vast majority of the time if I have the set-up correct on the unit.

    I've had a few PM's asking which DI xducer we installed with Doug's HELIX 10 DI ...

    We used the stock XNT 9 DI T (and its stock transom mount hardware) mounted directly to da'ducer apparatus® ...

    (Doug doesn't use 2d much at the bow so it wasn't an advantage in exchanging for the 200kHz/83kHz of the optional XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T) ...
