I think if that ramp on Mellonville was not so tricky to get out of there would be more people fishing it. It does get fished hard in spring for shellcrackers and bream by the Sanford locals. They used to stop in and show me their coolers and livewells full at the store.

Yes that one. And the shallow area is what I was saying was tuff. I probably would not use that either, but the locals sure would and do.

I have never fished Jessup. Not sure why other than I never knew where to start.
Jessup is an easy lake to learn.... It's big but not that tricky..... Look on Google earth for soldiers creek.... That open area is good fishing..... Also under the 417 if you see other boats there.... Great shore line around the south and west sides.... Later they'll be in the bull rushes and there's plenty of those all around the entire lake.

Never had the chance to fish there but once myself. I do know its clearly not a lake you want to fall into............gator bait city.
