I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what but it's always hard fishing for me when shad are driven to the bottom like that..... I'd LOVE some input from others on what you think makes the shad do this.... I have to chalk it up to super high pressure!!??

Anyways, got to play with my new graph some today.. Like it so far.... After finding this and not getting bit I knew it had to be a bad day
I ran in to the same thing Thursday morning. Marked bait and fish on several brushpiles. Only could catch one crappie and one spot. I going to blame on fluctuating water over the last few days. I didn't try any of the marinas though. Those cold nights we had could have drove some bait and fish into them. I'm waiting for the marinas to heat up. When they get in there it on!

3 good ones for sure. I haven't been out in a couple of week. Hope to change that tomorrow.

Creeks are in pretty good shape. Upper mcalpine was 13.5 ft., about a foot high. If I was chasing spotted bass today, I think it would have been really good. Current was perfect, and they current breaks should have been on fire.

I'm not exactly sure where you have been fishing, but thinking about tanners creek area

You can try it but river levels tell me I'd be looking else where...up 7-8 ft
