    Prayer Request Lake Murray

Just sitting here in my easy chair and looking at the activity on the lake. I am starting to see some sea gull activity and I noticed the loons were back on the lake. That means the stripers are back in my area and ready to be caught. Tomorrow I leave to go on vacation for a week and when I get back I hope to be able to get after the stripers so anyone who likes to striper fish, I will be looking for some one to help me cull some of them. Hope every one on CDC has a happy Thanksgiving and safe travels to those who will be traveling this weekend. Don

When you get back, I'm gonna come follow you around. I need somebody to teach me how to fish this big old lake.

Thumper I will be glad to take you and show you what I know about this old pond. I have lived on it and fished it for close to 25 years but I am no expert. I pretty well know where they are suppose to be just haven't figured out how to catch the crappie consistently. That is what makes fishing fun for me.

I will take you up on that. Looking forward to meeting you. I met SeaRay this morning and we messed around for a couple of hours. He showed me around Lexington a little bit. A nice man for sure.

Don, hope y'all have a safe and enjoyable trip. I would really like to meet you and to go Striper fishing with you one day when you get back. I just moved to Lake Murray about 6 weeks ago and look forward to meeting some of our members and fishing with some of you that know the lake and don't mid sharing your knowledge.
PM me if you want to set up a fishing or "culling" trip.

Looks like a lot of cdc members are wanting to join you for your culling trip. Well, I'd like to also take you up on your invitation. I work Monday thru Friday, so Saturdays and Sundays are usually the only days that I can get on the lake. Happy Thanksgiving!
