Default Stevensville work week close 11/20/15: Report

got to the launch about 12:45 fished till about 3:45 when i had to leave to go get lil man. caught a couple sac's on blue/silver chartreuse tail stinger shad. biggest one was about 11" one of the bigger ones ive caught in a while off tree top, two smaller ones were off pylon structure. didn't set the world on fire, made a nice quart freezer bag for later, definitely felt nice after last sunday not catching anything.

It was by one of the 20 gas tree valves in the canals, I think they are refurred to as the union oil canals the water was beautiful.

Nice report. What you catching in the Hav-a-heart trap? I have one like that for armadillos.

What's the best bait for that. Next door there is a swarm of Puddy Tats.

Tuna works great, put the can under the cage and just a little in the cage. The smell really attracts them but you don't need the whole can for one cat. I put mine out overnight and put the can into a ziplock in the fridge during the day. One can is enough for a half dozen cats plus a possum or two.
