Went to Lake Arthur today for 12 and will have to say that Bayoucrappie gets some of the credit by hyping up the cork fishing in a phone conversation we had. I wanted to fish my normal favorite tight line, but only managed 3 and couldn't stop thinking try under a cork. Caught the other 9 3' under the cork with Poppa Chop and OCR trailers.
Had 8 caught and was heading in and gave them to a guy with only 2. He was happy and I told him I would try a few minutes more doing catch and release.
The next fish was 15" and just couldn't throw him back so there were 4 fish for a friend at the boat landing. Really a fun day after the fog cleared and the wind laid down.
Hey Bayoucrappie if you ever get a pic of that jig rescue device I would like to see it.

Very good report. Congratulations on figuring out what they wanted and in having fun catching them. Plus the fun of giving them away. I would say, all in all a great day on the water.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
Use a size bb weight. Put it about 3-4" above the jig. It gives the jig more action and makes the cork stand straight up that's how I fish mine. I see you liking them trailer. Have you seen some of the new colors
