    Default Secession 10-16-15

From Dons report yesterday the fishing have already changed. It was a real slow bite today that took me from 8:30 until 3:30 to catch 16 good keepers and not a lot of throw backs in the mix. 12 1/2'' was the biggest crappie. Now if you want to catch spots they are on fire!! Must have caught 30 to 40 of them today with two coming home, a 18'' and 16''. Good for the grease Most of the spots are 12'' and under and will take out two or three lines each catch.....
Water looked good and was 65 to start and ready don't know what it topped out at. Wind was super sonic all day! Seemed it is each time I go LOL. Seem some good bait in places (small places) and many places with no bait nor fish. It is going to be an interesting event next Saturday

Pulled 1/8 oz jigs at .08 to 1.2 mph and no color out caught the other. Few pics,

Nice catch Ronnie. It is amazing how it can change overnite. Thinking about trying it again Tuesday if I can find anybody to go with me. I fried some fillets that I caught yesterday and they were delicious.

Don I seen Mark & his wife on the lake this afternoon and they got burned on the Hill this morning and came to Secession to try their luck and was having about the same catch as I was. That dang wind gets me every time I'm on the lake lately LOL. I have never seen the spots hit like they are right now... I hope the cold front doesn't send them to the bottom? hard to tell. I have a doctors appointment Tuesday or I would ride down to fish with you. Get Ray out of bed and make him take the ride with you

Ray is going to Wyle Monday to fish with Remus and him and I are going to fish Friday for a while. I was hoping to find somebody who has not fished the lake to go with me. I am no expert but the lake is not that big. Mark and his wife has been on vacation this week and fished every day. Don

Nice catch Ronnie. Even with all that wind today you was still able to bring home a good mess. Nothing wrong with a few bass fillets either. Congrats on the catch.
