Those are sweet. Would really like the steps involved

The mylar is stretched over the head and tied with nylon string at the front then stretched and tied in the back. I super glued around the string(front) and when it dried I used nail clippers to trim it tight and then coated it with Sally. The head is matched to fit the mylar tight. The head is a southern pro 1/8 oz. tube jig flattened just so the XL pearl mylar fits in. I powder coated the head also. Hope this helps. I did a video a while back but can't find it for now. It took several tries to figure this out and never let anyone know how I did it. Good luck if you try it.

I made mine from pipe cleaners and Mylar tubing. The original Cypert minnow is made with chenille. I just adapted it to the material I had on hand and it worked out ok. Here is a tutorial of a young lady tying what she calls a super Cypert minnow. I tyed mine on a 3366 mustard in size 6, she uses a size 8 if I'm not mistaken. I'm not a purist, I always put my spin on something. Not always with good results I might add, but it's just me being me. The white ones caught several sand bass over at Joe Pool. I've done some different colors as well. I've used both chain bead and lead eyes. Below are some others I've done with chenille.
