First Crappie Trip (fall 2015)

Made first fall trip to Walter F George today. Fish were along the channel in 12-20 feet of water. Best colors were anything with chartreuse tail. Litewirehooks were necessary since the fish were on trash piles. Great to be on the water. We kept about 40 for family/friends cookout.

look like the wind could have been blowing good to see fish being caught, what was the temp of the water, thanks for the report.

Forgot......the water temp was 79 degrees. We caught fish early and then around lunch found a hump and we caught 18 off the hump. We were going to Blackshear but changed our mind when we saw wind speed. Can get out of the wind little at Eufaula.
