That's a shame too. I caught a lot of nice crappie out of Carroll Lake in years past. They need to fix it!

Plans are to restore the lake. Money is the issue.

I heard it was going to be upward of 2k a yr to rent a slip at the new marina. Hate to see what the campground is going to cost.

Out of county permits are $5.00 a day and I have to buy a permit for my wife to sit in the boat with me. $10.00 a day I just as soon go somewhere else. Gibson County lake is giving up some nice bass. I plan to crappie fish there later in the fall.

Jackson news said the new marina and fuel sales would create 12 to 15 new jobs. Must be planning on a lot of boat traffic.
