Sometimes I tip with minnows, during winter and bluebird days, when they are close to bottem.

I use a variation of the bait pump and inject nibbles. I used to have a hard time pumping into the tube. Then I realized that it works better to pump the tube full, then put the tube on the jig.

Great info, from everybody, FYI- I am a true believer in Crappie Nibbles. There is more work to be done, Gosh, did I say work? with the Shad Scales. It looks like they are ok but no cigar!!

You can push 4 or 5 nibbles into a tube, and then thread onto hook, I just tried. I learned a lot from this post. Thank you all.

I use nibbles in all my tubes, I use the bait pump, One person posted that it is hard to use, here is what i did. Put a few drops of oil or Vaseline on the threads. Push the point all the way inside the tube and then turn the knob. It will fill it all the way up and will last for a few fish at least. I have also taken a small baby food jar and put nibbles in it and some grubs, It seems like the plastic either absorbed the sent or at least it stuck to it. I'm going ot try the shad scales too. JC
