What is this stuff?

This stuff is 20-25 years old. It cam with bottled paint, but the paint is as hard as rocks. Yard sale stuff. Made me another "pinkie".

It's fishair - synthetic. You'd tie the jig and then put the liquid on the thread wrapsand it and it would turn hard and shiny. Netcraft used to sell it.

Good find there Tom. You might try a streak of black or blue on what will be the top when it's fished. A pink head and a black top and chartreuse bottom is another I always carry.

Try a drop of acetone as Fatman mentioned. Just a drop where the ties are done.
