A KY State Trooper assigned to Lyon County was shot and killed during a traffic stop last night on I-24. Apparently the suspect has been captured near Eddy Creek.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. This is the 2nd Lyon County Trooper who has died in the line of duty this year. The other was killed in a crash at KY Dam during a high-speed chase.

These folks put their life on the line every day but now have an even more serious threat from those who WISH to do them harm.

Somebody wake me up and lets get back to the country we had just a few years ago. I don't like this one.
