All you need to do is figure out how to attach some scrap aluminum angle iron (2"x 2" or more depending on your rig) that is long enough to clamp it securely to the accessory rail with two bolts (cranks put some pressure on the rod holders) and then attach/bolt the driftmaster base to the flat portion that faces upwards. Install the rod holder, and then when you want to move the rod holder to the front, just loosen the two bolts in the accessory rail, slide it up to the front, then tighten the bolts. You may have to do some cutting or bending to get the rod holder set up right for the angle of the accessory rail.

I have a Alumacraft Classic 165 deep v hull, they offer some "accessory clamps", which are 2 pieces of high strength ABS plastic that clamp together with a thru bolt & nut. These two pieces then clamp onto the groove built into my gunnel, and I cut some aluminum angle iron down to fit these clamps (3-4" in length) and large enough for a Driftmaster T 250 base, (the star shaped one using 3 bolts), bolted the angle to the clamp with 4 small bolts, mounted the driftmaster base to the top side of the angle, installed the T 250 rod holder stem and t bar, then the rod holders themselves. I can loosen the clamping bolt on the ABS plastic mounts and then slide the rod holder mount anywhere along the gunnel I need or want to. I have made 4 of these mounts/holders so I can run any configuration of rods I can think of. LOL. The problem I have now is trying to figure out the best locations for the rod holders. I just need to spend more time on the water but as I come up with more options, the need for more rods of differing lenghts come into play, and I only have so much room in the boat. I don't want to run any more than 6 rods at a time since I fish solo.

I'm not anywhere near my boat until Monday or Tuesday, so will try and post some pics of my set up when possible. I do believe Tracker offers some "stuff" that works with their accessory rail, some of it may work for your set up.

X2 on the Driftmaster 250's. I have a pair on the back deck of my Ranger. Works perfect for pulling cranks or long lining. Have a 101 Terrova IPilot on the front. Put a set of Dub-L-Seats on the back. Just fish from the back and steer by remote. Best set up I've ever used.

Agree with speck on the set up but I traded up to Millenium Syper lok holder. They are much stronger, provide more adjustment and once set they do not move no matter whate. Large knob for easy one hand adjustments that even the kids can handle. LOVE THEM!
