Default Looking for a fishing partner

I am retired and am looking for someone who is sort of footloose and fancy free like I am to go fishing and camping with me. I'm married, but my wife doesn't like fishing, but she doesn't mind me doing my own thing. The guy I have been fishing with [when he can go] has too many irons in the fire to go and do like me. I have a camper at Enid and go for a week or so at a time. If you're interested PM me your number and we can talk about it. Thanks
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

I've been retired since April '09. 36 years of service 32 years working the 11 to 7 shift. Best off days I had were sunday and monday. Never a reason to wake up early so I still sleep in. Hate weekends.

I'm with you. I rarely, if ever, fish on the weekend. If I do I go out on the Mississippi River to catfish.

Use to catfish, can't eat them anymore.
I've camped and fished the Mississippi at Shelby Forest, Tunica day park, Rosedale boat ramp and Greenville River park in the past.

I spent many a day on the Big River with my Old Grandad. Sure wish I had a partner to jug fish around Tunica. Alas, they're all dead or in homes. Plus, the Asian Carp have about ruined all the Oxbow lakes around here (North Delta).
I wonder what this late July river rise is going to do to our Oxbows??
My Dad is 94 & we can't ever remember a flood in July. Any comments, please!

Spindle, I would be happy to join you for some fishing. I live not far from Enid, and my work is freelance and I often have free time during the week. I don't have much fishing experience, but I pack a mean lunch.
