    I gave Black Bayou in Benton a try this morning and only caught two! Never tried going near bottom, though. Saw lots of fish around seven foot mark, but apparently not hungry. Fished 06:30 to 08:30.

    My trolling motor is a five speed. On #4 it runs 1.6 and #5 runs 2.2. I guess I could run it on #5 and use my drift chain for extra drag.

    Going with the wind I'd run TM... against the wind I would run the outboard to get right speed I have two 5 gal buckets I use to slow down if needed but chains work just as well

    Nice mess of fish there! I haven't used crank baits before but if I did that is EXACTLY the color I would use! lol Thanks for the pictures.
