Tied some bugs for dropshotting deep summer time bluegill and red ears. They have painted brass heads, micro chenille bodies, rabbit hair tails and frog hair silicone legs on a couple of them. They actually weigh 1/100oz. They are tied on #10 Mustad wet fly hooks. Don't know if they will work but I had a good time this afternoon tying them up. They are also my favorite color for bluegill baits.
They look good.

They look really good, but I wish that I knew how to find the big ones in summer. I know they go deep, really deep and I don't know where to start. Here I believe they go to 25 to 35 foot water depth, but anything else is a mistry to me.
If you know how to find them please tell!

Them will get the job done. Nice work.
I love those flys !!!! What Is Frog Hair ???
Froghair is a silicone skirt material used for bass spinner baits and jigs.lt is about half the diameter of the regular material making it very well suited for small jigs I think. I believe the company that sells it is called Skirts Unlimited. I originally used it for bass finesse jigs.
