    Default Wateree 6/6

Headed to my aunt's dock above the State Park around 7 PM, caught some shad and perch in the cast net. Bite was good right at dusk as always, caught a couple 5 lbers and a 3 lb channel. Sun went down and caught a 10 lber, then it rained for 30 minutes, and then got one about 15-17 lbs and headed home. Wound up with about 40-45 lbs of catfish almost all blues. 80% of the fish were caught suspended about 3-5 feet deep in 9-12 FOW on live bait with trebles in their back. The bite on the bottom was pretty dead. Caught a couple on stink bait including a 5 lber. Back at the house by 2 AM. Will be making a nice catfish stew.

Thanks man, it was a good trip with my dad! Put him on the biggest cat he's caught in decades.
