You want me to ride in her boat with her driving? I always feel like the kid in the cartoons that was hanging on for dear life on the back of a bicycle when I ride with her on the highway! What the game plan is right now is to get it installed on Saturday morning. Then I am going to pick up a buddy of mine who has never Crappie fished before. I purchased him a new rod and reel and gave him a little tackle box full of jigs. We will hit Pomme de Terre Saturday afternoon. And then Sunday I will have my regular fishing partner with me at Bucksaw. And I trust him to drive the boat.

Well they tell me that they couldn't run the air system or the live well light in the rear live well because of the gas tank! Now I know why they are out of business. I removed 5 screws and a plate and bingo I was able to reach over the gas tank and install the air system in the rear live well. And I got a LED live well light that will be easy to install in the rear tank after I remove the 5 screws and move the plate protecting the gas tank.

And since my favorite fishing tackle store, hint hint hint Jigging15 doesn't carry Eagle Claw #8 gold hooks I was wondering around trying to find them in Bass Pro this evening. Some how I lost Paula!

So next thing I know is Paula has the Bass Pro Sale Flyer and she is looking at Fish Finders and she is talking to this guy. Well first off she knows I had looked at a Humming Bird Hexi 5, because I wanted down scan and I really wanted side scan too. Well she is looking at a 5 inch size Lowrance because Paula knows I really wanted a Lowrance because I have had good luck with our Eagle Fish Mark 500C units which is a off breed of Lowrance. Well I came up and she said did you see the rebates on these things? I said yep, I saw the ad. I said but I want GPS! Next thing I know is she has her check book out and she is telling this guy behind the counter that she wanted a Lowrance HDS-7 Gen2 Touch Fishfinder/GPS Chartplotter with Insight USA and LSS-2 Transducer plus she wanted a map card too!

So I have the best wife in the world, I even decided to take her out for Mexican Food tonight! God I hope I have enough Rolaids to get me thru the night.

She did tell me that I would have to pay for the install!

Ok you Missouri guys this guy needs some help here I have no idea what this unit will do! It took me almost a year to finally figure out a smart phone! I don't have problems with computers!

Oh and I would like to throw out a special thanks to Hookin'&Cookin' for showing Paula all that their fish finder could do!!!

I will trade you my house, boat and one of my dogs for your wife. The boat only because I want a new one but will keep one of my dogs because that basset hound has the best nose I have ever seen and she can smell crappie in the water. Bark when she smells brush piles with crappie on them. Hate going to Truman she never stops barking. She is a true female and stops barking long enough to roll on her back and puts all 4 in the air and wants her belly rubbed, AND moans.

LOL! I used to have basset hounds and if you have one they are your owner they are a mess in a fun way! Nope sorry keeping the wife since its her boat. Back in 2008 I had been looking at buying a boat. Well I looked at Tracker Crappie Boat they had at the time, I looked at G3, I looked at every other brand of boat. Then one night I was online and I started looking at a Lowes Stinger. Man I couldn't believe it the boat was wider than a Tracker and it had 2 on board minnow buckets. I was so excited that I went in and woke the wife in bed about 1 am in the morning. I told her we were getting up and going to go look at a Lowes boat in the morning.

Well ended up at the dealership that morning. I went in there and man I was drooling like a hungry dog all over the 175 model they had in stock. Well at the time my wife hadn't fished since she was a kid and fishing wasn't one of her things. So I am looking at this boat trying to figure how I can borrow the money for it. I normally don't like to borrow money unless its for cattle. Well the wife saw me just going on and on over this boat after the salesman left us alone. Then the wife came up to me and said I have a question for you. I said go ahead and shoot. "If you were to own a boat how many weekends would you be gone per year and out of my hair? I came back to her and said, "I would be gone for at least 30 weekends per year!" Next thing I know is my wife is yelling I need to talk with a salesman now! So she purchased the boat.

Well since then she has tasted the wonderful fried crappie. Oh she would go out on the boat with me but not fish most of the time I went alone or with a buddy. I finally said to her if you will get a fishing license we can catch double the amount of fish! Now I have created a monster! If I go to Everharts or Bass Pro and buy something to fish with, jigs, poles, reels, etc. I better come home with double the amount because she is going to want one or half of what ever I have purchased. We went to Everharts about a couple of months ago to get a folding net. Next thing I know is she has about $250.00 worth of crappie jig skirts in the basket.

And yeah she cleans my plow about every time we go out together. She either catches them all or she will land the largest fish.

So I guess I am going to have to keep her around!!!
