Mark Twain is at normal pool this spring. It is usually up. But the real difference is the Missouir River. In the spring it is usually way up in the trees. Not this year. It is low with the dikes way out of water. No big rains and not a bunch of snow out west to melt. The local rivers haven't flooded either.

Maybe the Corps won't strand the spawn up on the banks this year by drawing down when the eggs are being put down?

I think we need about a 5" rain and bump her up to about 610-612!

I like the idea of some higher water for Twain. right now my favorite spawning spots are high and dry. but for the Missouri, I prefer the more normal water levels with the wingdikes showing, at least for most of the year, except june when the mulberries are falling. when there is 10ft of water under a ripe mulberry tree, you never know what you might catch!
