Hey Matt I don't have a micro head jig. I pour 1/32 to 1/4 pony heads. The 1/32 seams to work real well for the bream. The sliders have a great waggle and can be retrieved real slow. The light line allows you to cast further.
Nimble they are in full swing. We fished just one bed. The crappie still haven't fully spawned out either. Can catch both on beds right now.
What is sad i like to feel the thump and bite but even with light spinning rods the hands goto sleep. Probably surgery in future to release nerves but not willing to do it yet. If I could spider for them I would and may try it lol. Can't imagine 8 poles with big bull gills on Em lol.
