    Really, in Michigan, is everyone OK, did anyone even feel it?

    U.S. Geological Survey geophysicist Paul Caruso said the 4.2-magnitude temblor was recorded shortly after noon Saturday. Its epicenter was about 9 miles southeast of Kalamazoo near Galesburg.

    My wife was in the kitchen and heard the washer/dryer start making noises like in a spin cycle, only to realize she did not have any laundry going. My friend lives in Climax (no pun) and felt his house shake like it was hit by a car.

    I was on the tractor for about 4 hours that morning. I think I was moving dirt in the front yard when it happened. I didn't feel a thing. Even if I was off the tractor I doubt I would have. Takes about an hour to get full feeling back after discing a field and running the front end loader!
