    Default Reedsburg?

Anyone have any advice for fishing the lake above Reedsburg dam for crappies? I want to try something new. I'm in the Higgins Lake area at the moment and want to get into crappies more often. The Houghton Lake canal opportunities just seem to hit or miss. Looking to try elsewhere.

I only fished it once and had more luck on gills that crappie, but Slabsrus lives up that way and does well further upstream from the dam in the stumps. He's a yak fisherman tho, and can navigate in all the stumps. I would think this time of year if you stayed in the channel and fished the edges of the stump line, you might find them.

Stop in the Comfort Center in Prudenville sometime and I can probably help you out a bit. These crappies came from Reedsburg.

It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D
