Well, how'd you do ? Like the guy said crappie were biting till the sun cleared the trees, white bass came and went throughout the day. River is down and clear, rain all day tomorrow will fix that

Went out today, later start than I wanted. Fished the Francis Slocum area. Nothing, did catch 3 small largemouth. Nice day, and I enjoyed the sunshine.
Don't laugh...it was the first of the year...overtime has kept me busy at work.

Yes he was...I use to flyfish. I would go down to the Eel River and catch smallies on woolybuggers. I caught a few that were larger than the fly...not sure if they were hungry or wanting to make loveOriginally Posted by Bouncer

Fished there again today and after 3+ hours of 8 different locations I finally found a few decent crappie. I started near battlefield and ended up almost to somerset bridge. Just like mentioned above...about as soon as the sun got past the trees and overhead, the bite got tough.
