Kinda seems like the same concept as the slough behind the pump house....i guess the fish can get in there and then they are kinda stuck. I tried fishing in my canoe in some of these spots, but never had much luck.

No secrets with me, I've just found locations and ways of fishing that others haven't.
I love the area behind the Rockhouse pump. The river floods in mainly from Blackwell swamp, that's one of the reasons why there are so many Black Crappie in there.
