    Default Tillery at night

Have been hearing good reports from Lake Tillery so I made the trip on Sunday. Hit the lake at 6:30pm because all the reports said that was when they start biting and I like night fishing. First place I tried was the shore line (trees, docks, rocks the Christmas tree farm) and did not have much luck. By then it was getting dark so set up the lights on a point in 30’ of water. Never got anything around the lights but still caught nice fish but not any numbers. Moved around and same thing two or three then nothing. Started working close to the docks again and bang it was on. Just started slow trolling minnows about 10 / 20 feet off the docks and hit my limit in no time. Nice fish 10’’, 14’’ and 16’’ and one 18’’. Started putting the small 10’’ and 12’’ fish back. WT 64 they stopped biting around 2am so loaded up the boat.

Sounds like my next trip needs to be at night. I need to get set up to fish at Night. What type of light do you use? Thanks for the report.

This is the lights we use. We make our own they are better than any you will buy.

Made them myself using LED's. Inside a clear tube. All material can be gotten at Lowes and Wal-Mart.
