as far as the concrete goes, I take some screws to attach the boards (2 screws/board) to the sides of the bucket, and place rock in bucket, no crete needed.

Local Cedar mill scraps and sometimes I use Hardwood scraps from a local pallet mill. Helps when you take these folks fishing or atleast share your catch from time to time.

I have done that but if screws rust out or plastic deterorates and bucket ever turns over the boards could be gone. May build more that way and even use whole buckets with holes in sides for more stakes. When I sink ones without concrete, I lower down with a rope to set upright on bottom.
