yep , no more hiding behind a sticker . Bald tires , windshield cracks, etc. will be addressed on road blocks /routine stops . Should make it safer .Before a sticker kept them at bay on the checks, you will find that 5 dollars was cheap .

Let me see your papers. Where have you been? Where you heading? Mind if we search your trunk? We have ways of making you talk! Sieg Heil!

Read the story on this last year. Reason they were talking about doing away with them was due to the cost to the state was more then they were getting back.

Much Ado about nothing. They do not have enough patrolmen to take care of what they do now and not enough money in budget to hire all they need. Road blocks and all that stuff ain't going to happen except on drunk days. If your taking care of your vehical like you should you ain't going to have a problem. What they have been doing hasn't kept one unsafe vehical off the road.

Glad it's gone. Waste of time and money. I see one group that would not like it and that's the windshield man. Mississippi has no shoulders on its roads for the most part. Rock chips equals cracks equals no inspection without new windshield. Unless your in a big truck going threw a dot inspection they ain't worried about nothing but drivers license insurance and registration and have you been drinking.
