RCC I agree with you. Pressure can really hurt smaller bodies of water. One of the oxbows I fish was awesome 2 years ago. The access wasnt great and you had to pay to launch but it was well worth it. On a weekend there might be 5 trucks there. Last year someone built a new ramp with free access and there would be at least 10 or 12 trucks at the ramp, and I heard stories in early march of people catching 100 or more on yoyo's at night. The fishing was terrible I only caught 4 or 5 fish in about 5 trips and everyone else I talked to was saying the same thing. My opinion it got fished out.

Think I know the place. Lake hogue has been hit pretty hard the last few years too. Used to be able to go during the week, and only a few people would be there. Now sometimes you can't find a parking spot.
