    Thought about doing that myself Gene, love home grown tomatoes - doesn't compare to store bought. I'm apprehensive about the weather though, maybe in a couple of weeks. Great idea with the parallel strings you have, I cage mine.

    PPG I went to your area of the world today. Off HWY 57 to witness an FAT on a control panel. Houma has grown since the last time I was there about 15 years ago.
    I can't leave now; They fixen to turn on.

    We do not plant tomatos on acounta all our friends do. We get several big boxes full from one friend that we can and then give half of them back to him works out good for both of us that way.

    Yea Chris, my dad just told me about the budding pecan trees the other day. I will have to watch for that from now on.

    You're right, have always believed that Chris. Even in West Texas where we had some that we irrigated. My pecan trees started budding the last few days, been watching for that.
