Can't wait. I barely got on them wading in the upper portions last year so hopping I make it out there in time this year.

Gonna try the flat tomorrow. Maybe Ellerbee also. If no luck, I might make the Little River trek on Sunday:>D

Brings back memories. We used to go to the upper end of Lake Marion (Santee Cooper) and camp on an island in the swamp about this time of year. We would catch a bunch of white bass on their spawning run up the creeks. Then the White Perch got established in the lake and wiped them out. Have not seen one in years. I think some still run in the main river channel, but I have not tried them.

Tried a few spots today in flat & eno. Also tried ellerbee at power line. No luck. Water is cold, high and still a bit muddy. A few days of no rain and 50-60 deg temps will get em stirred up.

Red, I did not catch this one in the river. But, yes the eno is still pretty muddy but the current has slowed way down.
