I seen some chickabou online. It's marabou but from a chicken instead of a turkey. Used for smaller jigs. I tie only 1/64-1/16 jigs for crappie. I use maribou often and wondered if this would be a better alternative to regular marabou and having all the waste. Ever see it or use it? Thanks

Chickabou is great stuff to use and fairly easy to find...........Almost any type of bird will have it in some form. Even road kills ........... lol You can also use it as a dubbing by just spinning it on your thread and wrapping it on your hook. Have fun tying !

I like to use it also on smaller jigs and streamers.. Marabou comes from A stork. Some use turkey flats in place of it not that you are wrong.
fe1 I bought some from a fly shop in Oregon and if you really want to know PM me and I will look it up, but I also since then got an account with Whiting and now buy it from them as I get a much better deal straight from the one that raises the birds and also dies them. If you need enough of them (different colors) I am sure that I can save you a few bucks, but it takes a little time to order and get them here.
Can anyone tell me how to join a jig swap
