Skip with you on the arctic fox!!!!!!!!! With the cost of the small pieces I've floated the idea of buying a fully tanned skin to my wife!!LOL I know I can dye patch's but getting them soft again would be the problem. Got a buddy here at work who does taxidermy so I'm gonna ask him about it and see if he can tell me anything.

Carnivals are also a good place to find good quality fantasy fur - finding a stuffed animal with the right colors and lengths! You just have to do a little negotiating with the carnies!!!!

Yes Fatman, but the big bushy fox tails are really nice and really lots of hair, but some underfur, but I still like it a lot! I bought some dyed and some in just white and a few natural one like one that is mostly white with black tips, very nice stuff. Guess I need to tie a few jigs to show it a little! I will do that!

    Smotlz,

These were made with yarn purchased at Walmart or Hobby Lobby, I can't remember. Most of the time it has a thread the will "candy cane" around the yarn. I simply cut to length and pull the string out. Then I brush it and cut a straight edge and I'm ready to tie. There are lots of colors. The yarn is a very fine texture and moves real well! I have a feelin' those "Eyes" will eat it and it might even get caught in there teeth! lol As long as you catch em though... Oops! Actually the first pic of the all grey is Polar fiber. I just realized that. This other pic is one I made last night with yarn. Name: 11008937_10153063876153864_850565558_n.jpg
