Here's my version. Not the most professional looking, but it will meat my needs.i needed more than the 5 raps to get the desired length.this was my concern with the xi5.the min koda has a little more room for the coiled cable.Anyhows, it works with a little tweeking of the setup from me . I mounted the coiled wire to the side of my slide bracket. This gives me the extra cable needed to extend my trolling motor all the way down[URL=http://s826.photobucket.com/user/kosmo012/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150223_135454_zps4e5hjhh1.jpg.html][/URL

The console units has the LSS unit the bow unit is DI and 2D sonar. On the Touch 9 unit down in the corner I can tap (source) a button and see the console from the bow unit.
But I have to leave the console unit on SI if I want to see SI on the front unit. And the SI comes from the back of the boat.

Working on a couple more projects. Going to build an adjustable rod rack form my 16'ers that you can lock the poles in this week.
Thanks for posting pix, I am learning a lot from this stolen thread, but I am wondering if I could use di/si transducer mounted on the transum to work with the bow and/or helm mounted Hds unit or isnt the cable long enough for a 17ft bass boat?

Bought my xi5 from BBG fri. before they left for the week. Wife said that it came in today. Out of town right now can not wait to get started with the install. Have an older HB 597 ci hd di on the bow that will be replaced by at this time I'm thinking a HDS 7 or 9 Gen 2 touch. Hope it works out!!!!!!
